Cornell College Summer Dance Intensive
June 9 - 14, 2019
Are you ready to take your dancing to the next level? The Cornell College Summer Dance Intensive (CCSDI) is a one-week intensive for 12-18 year old dancers of all levels. Our immersive summer program will transform your technique and ignite your artistry.
You’ll complete classes in musical theater, contemporary modern, and West African dance and learn original choreography. In the evenings, you’ll enjoy social outings and attend workshops which further your preparation and highlight career opportunities in dance. At the end of the program, you’ll demonstrate your growth through a showcase performance held in Cornell’s beautiful Kimmel Theatre.
Participate as a commuter or choose the residential option, which includes Cornell housing and a meal plan.
All meals will be prepared and served by Bon Appétit, our award-winning food service provider that focuses on fresh, nutritious ingredients, and a made-from-scratch approach. Bon Appétit offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals, and can also accommodate food allergies.
You will stay in Tarr Hall, which has secure key-card access. (If you live nearby, you can also commute instead of staying on campus.) Resident advisors are located on each floor to provide additional support and mentoring.
